Update

We are happy to report that Benjamin has been eating quite well over the weekend! Saturday night Darin was able to feed him about 53mL and since then he has been sucking the stuff down. I fed him a full bottle (50mL) yesterday and his nurses have been getting him to take 40-60mL a feed. This morning he took about 60mL as well! This is great news...he has a strong suck! They are also weaning down his flow on his nasal canula (the uncomfortable nose thing that gives him oxygen) and are hoping to be rid of that by today or tomorrow. We are going to start trying breastfeeding too hopefully within the next day or so because he's been doing so well! This is quite exciting! The only thing we really need to work on with him is his sleeping habits. I think he's got day and night mixed up...he's up all night and sleeps during the day. I told the nurses to fix this before he comes home :) Although, I'd be happy to have him home even he wasn't back on track!
